MEET ANDREA

In 2011 my mom took me to the Bobbi Brown counter at Nordstrom where she bought me my first three eyeshadows and my first blush. Those four products (that I still have to this day) are what launched my obsession with makeup. I quickly became known to my friends as the "makeup junkie"; a title I took pride in.

Even when I began school at UCLA, my love for makeup remained steadfast. I watched YouTube videos on my down time and practiced techniques on myself. In 2013 I was hired at MAC inside Nordstrom where my makeup skills really began to flourish. I spent the last two years in college freelancing, becoming familiar with application techniques on different skin types, skin tones, and skin textures. I discovered my love for beautifying and my knack for creating a comfort zone between myself and my client. I enjoyed teaching and educating others about makeup.

Fast forward to today - I currently work at Chanel Cosmetics,   still freelance, and have started my on YouTube channel (here). I am enjoying my time exploring my artistic side, being able to flex my creative muscles, and have completely fallen in love with educating others on makeup and giving tips to fellow freelancers. I love being able to make others feel confident and beautiful. I want to be able to reach other, particularly to people with similar eye shapes as me, and show them how to work on eyes that aren't standard. Along the way, I love learning new techniques and just sharpening my skills overall. I primarily specialize in trendy makeup for events as well as makeup for brides and bridal entourage but have had vast experience in runway as well as photography and set makeup.

Besides makeup, I also enjoy reading, cooking, dancing, spending time with my dog, and actively pursuing the medical field (my original area of study). It's been an unexpected journey to finally get to where I am and I would love to continue my journey through you. I look forward to being part of your special day! Thank you!

XOXO,

Drea
